Around the world 35,000 other fans are doing the same thing, because together, they own and manage the football club. If distributed networks of people can run complex organisations such as football clubs, what else can they do?
Us Now takes a look at how this type of participation could transform the way that countries are governed. It tells the stories of the online networks whose radical self-organising structures threaten to change the fabric of government forever.
Us Now follows the fate of Ebbsfleet United, a football club owned and run by its fans; Zopa, a bank in which everyone is the manager; and Couch Surfing, a vast online network whose members share their homes with strangers.
The founding principles of these projects — transparency, self-selection, open participation — are coming closer and closer to the mainstream of our social and political lives. a. The human head uses 2 eyes to it’s advantage in a number of ways. Apart from giving you a spare in case one gets plucked out, it also uses it’s binocular vision to feed 3 dimensional information to the brain to help it out with judging distances, locations and speeds. In video, if you can trick the brain into sensing this “binocular fusion” aka stereopsois by blending 2 views into one moment in time.
b. The parasitic Horsehair worm aka Nematomorpha aka the Spinochordodes tellinii lives in it’s grasshopper host and, once the worm is ready to reproduce, makes it’s host thirsty by some chemical trickery. The host dutifully goes to the waters edge, at which point the parasite spring forth from it’s body into the stream to find a mate, leaving the grasshopper dead. So too does our b-boy head to the roof of a tall building to send off new parasitic ships.
c. when space ships finally attack earth, we will not notice them until it’s too late.
The Technique

Der erfolgreichste, deutsche Regisseur in Hollywood ist unumstritten Roland Emmerich, zumindest kommerziell gesehen. Bereits im März kommt sein nächster Blockbuster “10,000 B.C.” in die Kinos, schon hat er ein neues Big-Budget Projekt am Start: 2012 lautet der Titel des Films und ‘Sony Pictures’ haben sich die Rechte gesichert. Der Streifen soll bereits nächsten Sommer starten!
2012 ist vielen Legenden nach das Jahr der spirituellen Transformation oder bei manchen soger der Apokalypse! Im Kalender der Maja wird das Jahr 2012 als der Wechsel der derzeitigen Weltordnung angegeben. Nostradamus sah den Einschlag eines riesigen Kometen Und der römisch katholische heilige Malachy sah voraus, dass im Jahr 2012 der letzte Papst antreten wird und somit das “Jüngste Gericht” einleitet.
Für das Projekt soll der Filmemacher ein Budget von 200-Mio.$ zur Verfügung bekommen. Bereits im Spätsommer bzw. im Herbst will man mit den Dreharbeiten beginnen, sodass der Film im Sommer 2009 in die Kinos kommt. Emmerich schrieb wie schon bei “10,000 B.C.” zusammen mit Harald Kloser das Drehbuch. Der Komponist wird wahrscheinlich auch wieder die Musik beisteuern. Über die Story ist bislang noch nichts bekannt, mit dem geplanten Michael Bay Film “2012: The War of Souls” hat der Film aber nichts zutun, auch wenn die Thematik wohl die selbe ist. [...]
